Mar 30: The Legendary work of the Women's Committees. In honour of International Women's Day, archivist Marilyn Nazar highlights achievements of the Women's and Junior Women's Committees, two formidable groups of volunteers who made significant contributions to the Art Gallery of Ontario between 1945 and 1975. Please visit at any point from 5 to 7pm and enjoy a personalized encounter with the collections.
Apr 27: Pop-ups, peep-shows, accordions, and pretzels: artists' books and multiples. Librarian Donald Rance will host a display of artists' books and multiples inspired by the current AGO exhibition SuperReal: Pop Art from the AGO Collection.
May 25: Artists and Letters. AGO Special Collections Archivist Amy Furness will host a display of unusual correspondence by artists.
Jun 29: The Group of Seven on the Page. AGO Rare Books Librarian Larry Pfaff will host a display of books illustrated by members of the Group of Seven, including the 1925 portfolio, Canadian Drawings by Members of the Group of Seven.
Oct 26: Reworking the History of Performance at the AGO. Archivist Marilyn Nazar will revisit choreographer Ame Henderson's 2014 Nuit Blanche rehearsal / performance in which the artist mined the Archives. The documentation of Henderson's project will be presented along with the original archival material that she repurposed and referenced.
Nov 30: Mysticism in Text and Illustration. Librarian Larry Pfaff will host a display of texts and illustration relating to mysticism and inspired by the AGO exhibition Mystical Landscapes: Masterpieces from Monet, Van Gogh and more.
Jan 25: Walter Trier as Book and Magazine Illustrator. Librarian Larry Pfaff and curator Brenda Rix will host a display of the illustrations of Walter Trier as seen in original watercolours, drawings, and books selected from the AGO's comprehensive collection of his works.

Wednesdays 4-7pm, Jan 18-Mar 29, 2017: Break Dancing Workshop with Unity Charity. Bust a move and break it down! Learn the 101s of break dancing in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Beginners welcome. Open practice 4-5pm; workshop 5-7pm. FREE.
