Artists have the opportunity to work from both nude and costumed models (on alternating weeks) and build a social and artistic network by meeting and working amongst their peers. Summer 2017:
Summer Camps. This summer, campers will have the opportunity to engage with Canadian art through art camps inspired by our current exhibitions. Over the course of the nine-week summer camp season, we look forward to welcoming over 1,100 children in over 50 different camps to learn and explore through art. In addition to guided tours, discussions and hands-on studio activities, each camper will also participate in a Camp-wide project that celebrates Canada 150. Specific camps have been developed to focus on Canadian art including: Made in Canada, I Love Canadian Art, and O Canada. Visit www.varleygallery.ca for more information ... more
