The state-of-the-art Marvin Gelber Print and Drawing Study Centre is dedicated to the study of prints, drawings and photographs, and houses a collection of over 70,000 works which date from the 13th century to the present day. The Study Centre offers a variety of opportunities for visitors:
Prints and Drawings: Open Door Wednesdays 1-4:30pm. One day a week, enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at our world-class Print Room. A selection of original works from our vault will be on view, and you can view works on request! FREE with admission; no appointments necessary.
Prints and Drawings: Open Door Evenings last Wednesdays of every month, 6-8pm. Drop by the Print & Drawing Study Centre for a behind-the-scenes look at our world-class facility. Take a short tour, and view works that are normally stored in our vault.
Prints and Drawings: Visits by AppointmentTuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. For classes and individuals interested in studying the collection in depth. Please contact us one month in advance: Alexa_Greist@ago.net or 416 979 6660 x535.

Prints and Drawings: Friday Morning FREE Talks. On the 2nd Fridays of every month 11am (arrive at 10:30am to view the works on display!), one of P&D's knowledgeable volunteers will give a talk that explores an area of the collection. Fri 25 Nov, 6pm: "Heaven and Hell: Prints that Inspired Boxwood Carving in the 16th Century". AGO curator Sasha Suda explores the print sources or the 16th-century wonders. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Small Wonders: Gothic Boxwood Miniatures. $15 members | $17 general public | $10 students.
Fri 20 Jan, 6pm: "Selling 'Small Wonders': Art Sales Catalogues from the Belle Époque" – by Adam Levine, historian of medieval and Renaissance art. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Small Wonders: Gothic Boxwood Miniatures. $15 members | $17 general public | $10 students.
