Oct 19: "The Artist and Her Generation." Join Georgiana Uhlyarik, Associate Curator of Canadian Art at the Art Gallery of Ontario, for a tour of the exhibition that offers a global view of women artists of Sheila Hicks' generation.
Nov 23: "The Art of Material Transformation." Join Curatorial Director Sarah Quinton as she discusses the power and potential of simple materials to convey a sense of place and lived experience in the sculptures of Sheila Hicks.
Dec 14: "Thread Journeys." Join Curator Roxane Shaughnessy as she discusses how, drawing on memory and experience, Sheila Hicks uses textiles as a language to record and interpret imagery she encounters during her travels across the globe.
Mar 1: "The Art of Display." Join Curatorial Director Sarah Quinton as she discusses the power of Brendan Fernandes' exhibition display methods in Lost Bodies.
Mar 22: "The Life of a Collection." Join curators Sarah Quinton and Anna Richard as they discuss the needlework mottos and their evolving meanings in the hands of women who made them, their collector Jane Webster and the artist Katherine Knight.
Apr 26: "Huichol Dress." Join TMC Curator Roxane Shaughnessy for an exploration of the rich spiritual symbolism of Huichol dress and the complex layers of meaning of traditional designs drawn from nature.
May 24 "Slow Looking." Join TMC Education Programs Coordinator Susan Fohr for an in-depth, slowed-down look at two of the complex yarn paintings by artist José Benítez Sánchez. Participants will be encouraged to share their observations and insights on the featured artworks.
Jun 7: "The Life of a Collection." Join curators Sarah Quinton and Anna Richard as they discuss the needlework mottos and their evolving meanings in the hands of women who made them, their collector Jane Webster and the artist Katherine Knight. In association with the exhibitions, Kind Words Can Never Die: A Personal Collection of Victorian Needlework, and Katherine Knight: Portraits and Collections.

From the 1000-year-old celadons of the Sung dynasty, to the blue and white export ware of the 18th century, Chinese ceramics inspire and challenge contemporary clay artists to this day. A selection of work from the AGB's Permanent Collection of Contemporary Canadian Ceramics looks at the relationship between the past and the present and how China's mastery continues to capture the imaginations of today's artists.
